Bugatti has joined the pantheon of automakers taking part in the Vision Gran Turismo video game challenge, with its design taking the form of a stunning supercar-turned-racer. Crucially, the design is a preview of Bugatti’s Veyron successor, an even faster model currently thought to be called a Chiron and likely due for a reveal at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show next March.
“The Bugatti design team normally works only for the exclusive and very distinguished circle of the brand’s customers,” Achim Anscheidt, head of Bugatti Design, said in a release. “Now Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo has given us the opportunity, for the first time, to do something special for our fans as well. When the target group suddenly grows from 450 Veyron owners to several million fans, gamers and high performance aficionados, it is a very exciting matter. We had a lot of fun with this project.”
