Micromax Mobile Q55

Micromax mobile's Q55 without a doubt is a "girly" phone :). Although everyone may not love the Swivel phone's physical attributes such as the almost Square shape, etc but it comes with a reasonably bigger keypad (with big and comfortable button, at lest to the naked eye), larger screen + White and Grey colors that makes it look good anyhow.

The keypad is a QWERTY type and you just can't miss that big Space bar which is nice touch and it seems that it's designed to let you easily type messages while using social services such as Facebook for instance. The keys that contains numbers are marked with the color Orange which is easily visible as well.


Main hardware specifications...

*. Unlike with the European mobile phones, a lot of Asian manufactures make sure to create a lot of Dual-SIM phones for their customers and the Q55 is also a Dual-SIM phone (900/180 MHZ bands supported).

*. 2.4" QVGA display screen with 262K color depths.

*. 2 Mega pixel camera (which is way below when compared with other recent models such as A70 for instance).  

*. Opera Mini is the web browser.

*. Facebook integrated (obviously! :D).

*. You won't be getting an Wi-Fi or 3G with it but EDGE/GPRS and Bluetooth are included.

*. The MicroSD slot supports up to 3GB of maximum memory expansions.

*. FM Radio.

*. Phone-book with a capacity for 1000 entries and 300 SMS messages saving space.

*. Comes with a simple music player that supports MP3, MIDI, WAV and AMR.

*. Weights about 75 Grams and the dimensions are: 70×70×16.3 mm.

The battery seems to support 4 hours of continuous talk time while the standby time is about 7 days. Both these values will change according to actual conditions thus as all knows, we should always be quite skeptical about manufacture's claims on such things :).

Anyhow, as said, if you're a dude then this is certainly not for you but if you wanna impress your girl friend with a gift (that doesn't take much out of your wallet ;-) ), then the Micromax Mobile Q55 might save your day!.
